Using Digital Photography: Pedagogical Applications: Introduction

It’s pretty easy to take photographs of children in the classroom. But it’s not that easy trying to figure out how to take the right photograph. The right photograph tells me so much more than what happened in the classroom. It can provide me with insights into children’s thinking that I can use to plan activities and maximize the children's potential for learning. In this section, you’ll discover how to take the right photographs. You’ll learn to use digital photographs to hone your observation skills, to interpret your observations, and then to determine the most meaningful interpretation.
