To prepare for Lesson 3, in which you will be creating your own blog, I would like you to do the following:
Name Your Blog
Remember that the name of your blog should reflect the purpose and tone of the site. It is your first opportunity to establish your online personality or ethos.
Write Your About Statement
Here are some questions to get you started:
- What is your name and occupation?
- Why have you decided to create a blog?
- Describe the subject matter of your blog.
- What else would your readers benefit from knowing about you?
Create a Blogroll
Compose a list of at least ten sites to which your blog will link. Note each site's name and URL. For example:
The New York Times — http://www.nytimes.com
