While video production is a profession, fundamental guidelines can be applied by novices to enhance the results of the final product. This module will engage the user in the process of planning, shooting, and editing a video for delivery via the Web. The techniques covered in this module are applicable to everyone with a standard digital video camera. To ensure the longevity of this module, it will focus on the guidelines of quality video production, not specific software tools and techniques. Digital video technologies are advancing rapidly every six months, making any instruction on software or hardware obsolete.
