A Philosophy of Communication (cont.)
Communicating
ideas through publication has always been governed by three factors:
Quality
Cost
Speed
When you
prepare a document for print or posting, these are the considerations
that you must address. If a publication is to be done, what level
of quality will be applied, how much money will be invested
in the project, and how quickly must it be completed? These factors
define the publication and sometimes determine how effective the publication
will be.
Many times
when a project is initiated, one of these three factors becomes the critical
determining element. For instance, you are tasked with creating a publication.
Consider the differences in the final product when production is governed
by each of the three primary factors of
publication.
