Campus-to-Campus Collaborations (CTCC): A Study in Web-Based Communication for Adminsitration and Research Collaborations
launch moduleLarry Tague
Research Associate and Co-Director of the MemphisEducational Computer Connectivity Alliance (MECCA)
This module provides the necessary learning environment and online tools to train university faculty and staff to use existing computer mediated communication utilities to organize network-based teams statewide for program administration and research collaboration. This module teaches specific soft skills (people skills relative to computer mediated communications) as well as IT (information technology) document co-authoring and management skills with web-based document authoring and versioning (DAV) protocols using DAV enabled applications such as Adobe Acrobat 5.0. Components of the module are extracted from previous experience with online collaborative administration using BlackBoard.com's CourseInfo web course tools, and current experience with an online grant preparation team.
