E-Learning ConsultantThis module is an introductory course for faculty and staff in how to convert existing curriculum or training courses to the web. Basic adult learning principles are discussed in order to show why online learning is an effective learning format for adults. Additional topics include organizing content into an online format, writing objectives, and creating assessment tools. Online learning is still a new endeavor for educators. In the coming years there will be an increased demand on educators to create online courses and modules. This module assists with professional development in two ways: it provides basic lessons to assist with the development of online learning as well as allows the participant to experience an online learning module.
